The Text Line Properties dialog box enables you to specify the properties of Text Line form field in your web page.

Name: enter name of the text line, by which it will be recognized by server. By default, it is TextLine#.

Value: set the default value for the text line. It means that the text line will be displayed with this text in the page. By default, the value is Default Text.

The Name and Value of the form field will be sent to a corresponding CGI.

Field Size: set visible size (number of characters) of the text line field. Default is 21. You can either type in the number or set it by using the arrows.

Text Max Length: set maximum possible length of the text line. That is, the number of the text characters viewer is allowed to enter in the line. Default is 21. You can either type in the number or set it by using the arrows.

Hidden input (password): with this option you enable page visitor to enter hidden text in the Text Line. This may be useful when creating password based fields.
